League Rules
Rules are posted on the left side of the league page under "The Ladder". Pool Legends specific rules are posted on the league page itself.

Backdoors in PL

To get into 'Afraid to Lose', PL's lobby, you can use backdoors which are located on main page. These backdoors are usefull as 'Yahoo' allows you to get into "full" rooms via backdoors.

PL has a main backdoor which you can use, which is the Custom Backdoor. Click the link provided.

Or, to go into a normal looking yahoo styled lobby, click on the graphic just above the Custom Backdoor.

There are extra links just below, for those who want quick access to other rooms. These are good to use when playing in interleague tourneys, where you are required to play in other rooms.

Reporting a League Game
You can play league games with other Pool Legend members. This is basically a separate game unrelated to tournaments. The loser reports the matches immediately to the league page. Click the "report loss" link on the left hand side of the league page. Then, login with your id and password and type in your opponet's ID. Click submit when it is all filled out!

Types of Tourneys
The most common tourneys that are played is a 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2.

1 vs 1, this is the most common game played, all that is required is two players and they play against each other.

2 vs 2, this is where two players play together on the same team. In order to join a team, 2 players get together and make up a team name and password, then go to the tourney page and register.

Secondly there are different styles of tourneys.

Single Elimination, this is the most regular type of tourney, it is a knock out system if you lose once you are out!

Swiss, there are 2 types of swiss tourneys "true" and "regular swiss", true is that you play all the rounds. In a regular swiss tourney you keep playing until there is 1 undefeated player!

Registering for Tournaments
First of all, you want to know when there are tourneys. Well this is easy, just click on the "tourney calendar" link on the left side of the main page

Another way would be to see an Announcement in the Pool Legends lobby by the hosting Tourney Director (T.D.).

If you used the tourney calendar it is real easy, just click on the tourney you want to play in and the tourney page will pop up If you see an anouncement in the lobby you can use 3 things.

The Tourney Calendar, or The Quick Tourney Register, or The jump # , just put this number in on the left in the box called "Tourney Jump" and fill in name and password and you are in.

Now you have the Tourney page up , what is next. Well this is as easy as 1 2 3.

1. Click on "register", then enter your ladder name, your pasword and check the "read the rules" box , then click on the register button and you entered the tourney.

2. Keep the tourney page up!!!!

3. As soon as the tourney has started click on refresh, then click on "standings" (this is where the pairings will be seen).

Playing in Tournaments
Once you have entered a tournament this is how it works....

Find out who you play (on standings page)

When the pairings are posted in the lobby, either player can invite their opponent to a table, doesn't matter who.

When the match is completed the loser reports to the tourney page using the "report" link on the tourney page and also reports to the lobby so the TD is aware the match is over.

Tournament Rules
Tournament rules vary with each tournament. However, all TD's use the same rules for the tournaments. You can view all the rules by going to www.poollegends.com/coc/. This is located at the top of the league page also for future reference.
